SCHOLAR BADGE DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION 2016-17

Acknowledging the academic excellence of the students, Scholar Badge Distribution Function 2016-17 was organized at N.C. Jindal public School, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi on 18th November, 2017. The occasion was graced by Sh. P.D. Bhoot ji, former chairman, Managing Committee, N.C. Jindal Public School, as the Chief Guest. It witnessed the presence of the former and the current members of the School Managing Committee; Dr. M.S. Tyagi, former Principal, N.C. Jindal Public School; stalwarts of the yesteryears, the ex-teachers; Mr. Rishipal, IPS, DCP, Rohini Distt, Delhi & the patron, NCJPS Alumni; Mr. Ashok Goel, Founder Chairman, NCJPS Alumni; proud parents and the meritorious students. Exhibiting self-discipline, harmony and balance, the Guard of Honour was accorded to the Chief Guest and other dignitaries by the NCC Cadets, Boy Scouts and Girl Guides of the school with immense pride. As part of the ‘green endeavours’ of the school, the chief Guest alongwith Dr. M.S. Tyagi, former Principal of the school planted a sapling in the school lawn and lent a boost to the students’ concern towards environment. The function began with the lighting of the auspicious lamp invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. The rendition of the School Anthem reflected the dreams and aspirations of the Jindalites and their spirit of selfless service towards the society.

In his welcome address, the Principal, Dr. D.K. Pandey congratulated the outstanding students for displaying passion and persistence to achieve academic excellence. He also congratulated the parents whose constant efforts enabled their children to become intellectually vibrant and ethically strong individuals. He motivated the students to serve as the ambassadors of the higher vision and values in the wider world.

In his message, Sh. P.D. Bhoot ji blessed the students and encouraged them to keep up the spirit to grow and prosper in their life with hardwork and dedication. He felicitated the Principal, Dr. D.K. Pandey for being the proud recipient of National Award to Teachers - 2013 and the Vice-Principal, Mrs. Namita Sharma for being honoured with the National Award to Teachers – 2016. He commended their sincere involvement and relentless efforts in the field of education.

An outgoing student, Rishabh Makan (XII B), proudly received the Jindal Jubilee Gold Medal sponsored by “Sita Ram Jindal Foundation”, for his impeccable character traits and excellent scholastic and co-scholastic achievements. 207 scholars from the Primary and the Senior Wing were awarded badges, blazers, gold medals and certificates as per their achievements.

The cultural programme ‘Panorama 2017’, beautifully woven by the vivacious Jindalites, portrayed the Gamut of Emotions and the vision they have for their country and the world as a whole. The budding Jindalites urged everyone to develop a collective consciousness and build a peaceful world through their enchanting performance ‘Heal the World’. Shakespeare’s legacy of immortal characters with their perceptive emotions and passions was brought alive through an evocative depiction of the Tragedy of ‘Julius Caesar’ by the young Jindalites.

Another captivating presentation ‘Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat’ showcased the unlimited power, exuberance, and energy possessed by the Indians for the progressive growth of their nation. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Vice-Principal, Mrs. Namita Sharma. The programme concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
