Inter House Street Play “BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO”

An Inter House street play competition was organised by N.C. Jindal Public School ,Punjabi Bagh on September 2,2016 .The student of six houses showcased a heart touching performance on the very sensitive issue of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and left a longlasting impression on the young minds for empowerment of the girl child in Indian society. The Principal, Dr. D. k. Pandey emphasized on the strengths of a girl child by giving examples of the proud daughters of the nation like Sakshi Malik and P.V Sindhu. Everyone took a pledge to make committed efforts to empower the girl child and ensure gender equality, freedom and justice in the society. Tagore house bagged the First position whereas Gandhi House and Subhash House got the second position. The Third position was bagged by Jawahar House and Shastri House. Patel House received the consolation prize.
